Meet Me In Saint Louis

People always ask me what it looks like to go to a Library Conference. Typically, I am in a conference room and get very little time to explore. In St. Louis everything was right downtown. I was there 4 days and only took an Uber once.

Unfortunately for me the National Park was closed because of the government shut down. I did not get my National Park Passport stamped and this was a bummer for me. It was also a bummer for the little 8 year old boy who was on a family vacation and really wanted to go up.

This Library is so spectacular. It really deserves its own blog post.

I was helping with clean up. They were going to pop these balloons, but I found an employee who had her daughter’s birthday that weekend and I insisted she take them.
